Abstract mixed media triptych. This abstract "Air" by African artist Kugbe Kukoff from Togo is the third in a trilogy of works titled " Air, Fire and Water" all of which are available on this site.

Kugbe Kukoff was born in Lomé , Togo in 1979. He considers himself self-taught in spite of being guided by Zdenka Apedoh a Polish artist and teacher at the school of plastic arts and his brief period working with well-known artist and designer Kossi Assou. Kukkof, although schooled in the sciences, literature and philosophy, found the pull towards art stronger. He has worked in collaboration with the Ros Art Gallery (Belgium) and Le Patio Galerie (Lomé) having exhibited there and also in Italy.

These three pieces each presented in custom made frames make an impressive triptych. The use of grass, wood, material and layer upon layer of paint give an amazing texture and depth to the works which sit proud of the backing in their tray frame.
